Comprehensive Reports
Our report is comprised of three sections.
1. Summary Pages
The Summary Pages section highlights the most important items noted in the inspection report. Our summary has two sections, marginal and defective.
A. The Marginal Summary highlights items that can be easily addressed or repaired. Most items noted in this summary are for the client’s knowledge and future home maintenance.
B. The Defective Summary addresses issues that need immediate attention, repair, or replacement. Items noted in this summary are the most significant to the client.
2. General Information
This General Information section states the general information about the home and the inspection day. In this section, you will find the table of contents, client information, and day of inspection conditions.
3. Body of the Report
The Body of the Report section relays all remaining information about the home that will be of interest to the client. The marginal and defective summaries are addressed in the context of the entire report. Additional photos are also located here detailing items such as inspection day conditions, shut-off valves, and certain areas of the home.
Limited Scope Inspections
A limited scope home or commercial inspection is a great value for some clients. A limited scope inspection allows the client to customize the type of inspection they want and need. Limited scope inspections focus on the major components of the home or building only. Many investors find this type of inspection to be beneficial.
Radon Gas Testing
We offer radon gas testing for $125 for properties within the Louisville Metro area and Southern Indiana / $175 for properties outside of those areas. This is a two-day test that detects the level of radon within a home. Radon is an odorless gas that can cause various health issues. We can inform you more about it at your inspection and will have the testing equipment with us if you’d like to add this test to your inspection package.
